United Escrow is a comprehensive digital payment solution that streamlines your transactions, ensuring ease and security. We offer a variety of payment methods tailored to your transaction amount, supporting payments through online store checkouts, marketplaces, or payment links provided by your contractual partners.

A key feature of United Escrow is our proprietary escrow service. Instead of transferring money directly to the beneficiary’s account (whether a seller, service provider, or landlord), funds are held in an insolvency-protected escrow account managed by our licensed payment service provider. The money is only released to the beneficiary once you have received and verified the agreed-upon service or goods. This trust-based system guarantees secure and worry-free payment processing, protecting all parties from fraud.

Yes, the security of our customers’ funds is our top priority. All United Escrow payments are securely held in insolvency-protected escrow accounts, complying with the legal requirements of the European PSD2 and DSGVO. Entities are licensed as payment service providers by the Dutch Central Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank), ensuring the highest standards of security and reliability.

United Escrow supports payments in a wide range of currencies to accommodate global transactions. Our platform allows you to process payments in major currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, and many others. No, the buyer does not need to register with United Escrow to make a payment. Registration is required only for the seller.

Payment processing with United Escrow is free of charge for buyers.

PAYMENTS

The seller decides which payment methods are offered to the buyer. Below is a list of possible payment methods:

Credit Card (VISA & MasterCard)

We support the 3DSecure procedure to ensure maximum security for credit card payments. 3-D Secure must be activated for your credit card to use this method.

Manual Bank Transfer (SEPA)

Transfer the amount via bank transfer (online banking). Ensure the amount and payment reference are entered correctly. Incorrect details can result in the transfer being returned.

SOFORT by Klarna

This method requires a bank account with online access (PIN & TAN). SOFORT is supported in Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, and Italy.

If the payment reference or amount is incorrect, your payment will automatically be refunded since it cannot be allocated to the corresponding order.
Direct payments are limited to $5,000 per transaction, while escrow payments can go up to $100,000. For higher limits, please reach out to us.

To avoid emails getting stuck in the SPAM folder due to overly strict filter rules, please monitor your SPAM folder frequently or add United Escrow to your address book.

  • Cryptocurrency platforms not based in the Netherlands
  • Crowdfunding platforms offering unregistered shares/bonds or consumer/mortgage loans

ESCROW SERVICE

1. Email Address Verification
To initiate the deposit into the escrow account, we require a valid email address from you. A payment link will be sent to this email, allowing you to access and manage the escrow transaction, such as releasing funds at a later time. To verify your email address, a verification code will be sent to you.

2. Deposit Funds
You will deposit the agreed purchase amount into an insolvency-protected escrow account via bank transfer or credit card. Once the funds are received, the seller will be notified and can proceed to deliver the goods or services.

3. Release and Payout
Upon receipt and verification of the goods or service, you can release the funds using your payment link. Both parties will receive confirmation of the release, and the funds will be transferred irrevocably to the seller.

In case of any discrepancies with the goods or service received, the funds will remain in the escrow account until an agreement is reached or, if necessary, until a legal resolution is achieved. United Escrow maintains impartiality and refrains from involvement in the fundamental business dealings of its users.

Once your email address has been verified, we sent you a payment link. This link allows you to access and manage your escrow payment whenever needed. If you’ve accidentally deleted the email containing the payment link, you can request a new link from your seller.
Bank transfers may take up to two banking days to process. Please be aware that transfers are not processed on weekends. It’s important to ensure that you have accurately entered the correct payment reference and amount when making your transfer. You can always access the transfer details through your payment link. If there is an error in the reference or amount entered, the transfer cannot be allocated and will be automatically refunded to you.
Once the goods or services have been delivered or completed according to the agreed terms, you are obligated by our terms and conditions to promptly release the escrow payment. Access the escrow payment using your payment link and both you and your business partner will receive immediate notification confirming the release and completion of the escrow payment.
If there is something wrong with the goods or service or you have not received a delivery, please contact your seller directly. If the seller does not respond to your requests, you can inform us. We will try to get in touch with the seller and ask him for a statement. If we do not receive a response within 14 days, we will transfer the deposited amount back to you. If the recipient contacts us within 14 days and gives a reason for not refunding the money, the money will remain in the escrow account until an agreement is reached. Please note: United Escrow does not take sides and does not interfere with the underlying transaction or contractual relationship.
